The sessions are structured enabling both the parent &amp; the child to follow a set routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Snack time encourages children to sit and rest. Snack choices provide children with opportunities to be inquisitive about each other&#8217;s choices and maybe introduce and extend child&#8217;s range of food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The sessions re-enforce routine, which is good for the children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Sessions allows everyone to welcome each other which supports both adult and child interaction encouraging and supporting child&#8217;s social and emotional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Wake Up, Shake Up song enables children to engage in physical activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Activities are chosen to support many aspects of child&#8217;s development but most importantly for parent and the child to have fun and enjoy some special time together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Time is allocated for singing child&#8217;s favourite Nursery Rhymes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Stories and singing Nursery Rhymes help to promote language and literacy skills setting the foundations for continued learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The session comes to a close with <em>&#8216;Goodbye&#8217;<\/em> song, again supporting turn taking and your child&#8217;s &#8216;Sense of Self&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Come and join us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">We look forward to seeing you soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">To join please contact us on 0121 327 2997<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every Wednesday &#8211; 9.30 to 1130 Every Thursday &#8211; 9.30 to 11.30 &amp; 1pm &#8211; 3pm (term times only) Parent &amp; Toddler group supports parents with young children, through creative play.
